History
|
|
| The building housing Fitzgibbons' Pub was built in the late 1800's
to house Weisel's Sausage factory. Weisel's eventually moved to a larger facility and
the building was converted into a bar shortly after the end of prohibition. It has housed a
number of bars under different names ever since.
It was opened as Fitzgibbons' Pub by Daniel Fitzgibbons in 1998. Fitz chose to
open an Irish Pub due to his extensive Irish heritage.
